Infrastructure works continue In Ghana

Ghanaian government released funds for sections of Eastern Corridor Road.

 

Vice President of the Republic of Ghana Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur said that funds have been released for work on the southern and northern sections of the Eastern Corridor Road.
 
He said steps were also being taken to complete work on the Volta Regional Library complex and the Centre for National Culture theatre, all in Ho.
 
The Vice President was addressing a grand durbar of chiefs and people of Asogli State to climax this year’s Asogli Yam Festival in Ho. He commended the Paramount Chief of Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV for exhibiting exemplary leadership and called for the support of all.
 
Togbe Afede said the nation ought to refocus on building a stronger state by putting in place the right systems and battling corruption.
